Maya is deeply passionate about empowering people and organisations to unlock their full potential to create impact. She is the CEO of Kids in Philanthropy, a not for profit focused on supporting young people experiencing disadvantage by empowering the next generation of Australians to be philanthropists; giving their time, talent and treasure to those in need.
Not for profit organisations do incredible work but are often lacking capacity – this is where KiP steps in, connecting these organisations with young people, an untapped source of volunteering.
KiP has a vision of a world that is more empathetic, compassionate, and connected – a world where young people are equipped to make a difference and communities actively support those in need. Maya joined the organisation inspired by this vision bringing experience in youth empowerment and education as well as in helping social enterprises grow and scale their impact.
