Mark Hedderman is the President of the LIA, Ireland’s leading professional education and development body for the financial services industry, representing more than 12,000 financial professionals. Now in his second year as President, Mark is a driving force behind the organisation’s mission to raise professional standards and champion excellence across the Irish financial services community.
Alongside his role at the LIA, Mark serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planners of Ireland (FPI), a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting the work of Certified Financial Planner™ professionals nationwide.
A CFP® practitioner and CEO of Hedderman Financial Solutions (HFS), Mark leads the second-generation family firm founded by his parents, Maurice and Sue, in 2007. Since taking over in 2021, he has continued the family legacy with his two brothers, guiding HFS to become known for its clear, structured and personalised financial planning for a select group of individuals and families. Rooted in values of honesty, integrity and acting in the best interests of clients, HFS has earned a reputation as a trusted name in Irish financial planning.
